7/17/07 - Station 22 responded to a report of an activated fire alarm at appriximately 6:30am. Upon arrival, the crew on the first due engine, 22-103, encountered a heavy smoke condition on the lower level. At that time, a call for additional manpower was sent out as well as a call to Station 40 for mutual aid. A primary interior search did not locate the source of the smoke. After walking around the exterior of the home, a secondary interior search, assisted by a thermal imaging camera, located a small electical fire in the cabinet of a large fish tank. The fire was quickly extinguished and the remaining smoke ventilated by members on scene.
